{P001} {0043-34} Paris, 8.5.46 Dearest Mary - My stay in Paris was a disappointmant - Amos couldn't come. They cancelled all leaves in the Brigade - and Amos rightly refused to be absent without leave. But it is a pity - and cannot be helped. I am leaving this afternoon, at 5, for N.Y. by air. Expect to be in America tomorrow 2 p.m. I sent you yesterday from here to London 4 pairs of nylon stockings, ope they will reach you soon. Please let me know by air mail if there is any gress in your preparations for Palestine. Cet in touch with Mrs. L. Mendelso ho will do for you anything possible. When you come to London - meet also M. ertok - the head of the political department of the Jewish Agency (a kind of Jewish Foreign Office) - he is anxious to meet you.
