[Jerusalem]

       In the afternoon I went to Jerusalem - for the Zionist General Council meeting. The meeting was opened in the evening by Yosef Sprintzak. There was time for three to speak: myself, Moshe [Sharett], [Abba Hillel] Silver.

       - At the end of the meeting our faction [met] - regarding the state and the Zionist Organization. We agreed: no transfer of a center to America, the [Jewish Agency] Executive branch office in America remains, government members can remain in the Executive. New members will be appointed to the Executive in Jerusalem - so that it will be effective and authoritative.
