A meeting with the army's lawyers. Lectures by [Avraham] Gorali on "composite" military law [compiled from the laws of various militaries], primarily continental, [Aharon] Hoter-Yishai - on English law. All the attendees (Yigael [Yadin], Haim [Laskov], [Yosef] Avidar, Ya'akov [Dori], [Attorney Ya'akov Shimshon] Shapira, Shlomo [Shamir], [Ephraim] Ben-Artzi) supported the English law. It assigns responsibility primarily to the commander - and makes a legal advisor available to him.
- In the afternoon a consultation with [Mapai] Bureau members on the [Histadrut] Executive Committee, the Bureau, and its plan for the future.
